Family Owned and Operated
Our company is family owned. We were born and reared in the Sixes and Towne Lake area. I recall when Sixes Road was simply a dirt road and barely passable by car. “When I-575 was being built, my brother and I hauled boulders from the blasting to our own backyard and built our first waterfall and pond. Who knew we would be doing that for a living down the road?” recalled Vance. The Dovers started in the landscape business 18 years ago with Classic Landscaping. They expanded their business to include pool construction and later changed their name to Georgia Classic Pool & Landscape. Being family owned and operated makes our company unique in the industry, and we provide a depth of unparalleled service. “When a customer meets with us, he/she is meeting with the owner of the company, not just employees,” stated Vance. “I am intimately involved with every job, and not satisfied until the job is complete and the customer is 100% happy,” he continued.

Georgia Classic Pool & Landscape is the only pool and landscape company in Georgia which “does it all” when it comes to creating the backyard escape of your dreams. “We don’t just put a pool in your backyard; we make your backyard pool and landscape an extension of your home,” said Vance. Our company builds gunite pools customized to the client’s specifications and desires. The only limitation to creating the perfect backyard is a customer’s imagination. Georgia Classic Pool & Landscape can create a pool with waterfalls, caves, vanishing edges and built-in spas. In addition to pools, we offer full landscape services from fences, outdoor fireplaces, irrigation, walls, walks and decks. Outdoor lighting is often used as a finishing touch to the Dovers’ work, and they work with NightVision Lighting, which happens to be owned and operated by Joe Dover, Sr. There are several kinds of lighting a customer may be interested in, including path landscape lighting and landscape spotlighting, which adds beauty, comfort and security to any property. To complete the ultimate backyard, Georgia Classic Pool & Landscape is a wholesale distributor and installer of Henri Studio’s and Massarelli’s fountains, statues and more.
