NH Scott Community Pool Project – Decatur, GA
Bringing a Community Pool Back to Life
After sitting closed and unused for over 25 years, the NH Scott pool park in Decatur, Georgia, was ready for a complete transformation. Georgia Classic Pool was selected to help bring this longtime community amenity back to life.
This wasn’t simply a pool renovation. The existing pool was demolished and the project started over from the ground up, allowing our team to construct an entirely new community swimming pool designed for today’s needs and built for years of use.
Located in DeKalb County, the completed NH Scott Community Pool demonstrates Georgia Classic Pool’s capabilities in large-scale commercial and community pool construction, from demolition and site preparation through construction and completion.
Designed for Recreation, Swimming & Diving
The new NH Scott Community Pool was designed to accommodate several different ways for the community to enjoy the water.
The pool includes dedicated swimming lanes for lap and recreational swimming, a beach-style entry that provides a gradual transition into the water, and a 12-foot-deep diving area.
Together, these features create a versatile aquatic environment that can serve swimmers of different ages, abilities, and interests while giving the Decatur community a modern pool facility to enjoy once again.
